The Teamsters Union presented Roger Connor with a check for $1,000 for the Tiny Home. The event was attended by the UUSD board and the new UUSD Superintendent.

In the AM class, the students continued work on the Tiny Home exterior wall installation. The students installed siding around the kitchen window and the top pieces along the bathroom exterior wall and the kitchen wall. They also installed some horizontal trim.

Monday May 17, 2021 Update. Purchased Needed Materials
Today I spent the morning purchasing material for the tiny home project. Purchased today were six sheets of exterior plywood and 20 pieces of 1x4 x 12' for exterior wall trim. Also purchased was an assortment of screws

Work has Re-Begun on the Tiny Home! May 6, 2021
After a 14 month delay due to Covid construction has begun back in Ernest on the tiny home! Today four sheets of siding were placed onto the exterior walls.
Equipment was received from a purchase by Andrew Stager at the district for the HHS construction dept. We received two - two-story scaffolding units and a one-story scaffold, two interior workbenches, and an assortment of tools. The tools consisted of clamps, two hand saws, two power drills, 20 safety glasses, 15 tool belts, utility knives, 2' and 4-foot levels,
The students put together all of the scaffolding, but only made up one of the two-foot towers. The students also put together the interior workbenches.
