Unistrut Welded to Underbelly of Trailer
Unistrut channels were welded to the underside of the trailer. The unistrut was installed as additional support for the house to the trailer. A big thank you to the construction company that was installing a gate for the class area. Their welder took a little extra time and helped on the tiny trailer. They welded the unistrut to the bottom of the trailer. There are bolts that go through the sill plate through the unistrut. This helps secure the house to the trailer.

Gate Installation Begins!
Two openings in the wrought iron fence were made over the holiday break. Due to rain and other projects, the installation of the gates was delayed. Today, Saturday, Jan 8 the east gate was installed. The west gate is scheduled to be installed on Monday, Jan 10.

Tiny Home Moved
The tiny home was moved into the campus by rooms 13 and 14. The move was made available by contractors opening up the existing fence. The fence will soon be getting a gate. At the moment the opening is closed by a chain link fence.

Portion of School Fence Removed to Add Gate, Two Places
Finally, some work is taking place for two gates to be installed on the HHS campus to allow for the tiny home to be brought onto the campus closer to the work area. By moving the trailer closer to the classroom would eliminate (not entirely) the need for long extension cords and walking in and out of the school gates. The first Tuesday of the holiday break. Unfortunately, after that, it rained almost the entire time.
